The ghost of who we were ❤️🩹
There was a time your name, felt like sunlight on my skin, warm, familiar, forgiving. Now it flickers like a storm I can smell before it breaks. I kept trying to love you into being gentle, into being safe, but I learned that some hands can only hold fire. You taught me how silence can bruise, how apologies can hide behind "I didn't know", and how love isn't meant to be a battlefield you crawl through just to prove you're kind. I have spent too many nights trying to translate your chaos into something that sounded like care. But there are languages you cannot learn for someone who refuses to listen. So I am folding the memories like old letters, not burning them, just putting them away. - Sarkasstic
