The Ghost from Centuries
The pitter patter of the rain outside Are like footsteps, for when it comes, I hide I am afraid but I peek on where I'm from Covered in linen sheets and singing myself a song The air in the room becomes chilly wid doom Despite all entrances closed and only the light beside blooms By the window, a misty silhouette appears And my timbers shiver when I see it clear My breath staggers from the fear I hope this is an imagination I simply made clear I hold my breath high and deep in my chest So that I may not make noise and somehow it forgets But no matter how eerie the situation I'm in Something is familiar, the figure made the bells ring I calm myself down, the ghost will pass through me However, it looked at my face and with its leer made a grin A drastic change in my heart beating's made And that drastic change not near to fade Paralyzed on my bed, its face I've seen But then this fear changed to pain that I've now redeemed Then it all seems clear who visited me now My parent, visiting their aged princess Like they're the one who lost me somehow When the living loses someone in their life, they remember through memories But the dead revisits, no matter regretfully, all things on Earth left for centuries
