The Funnel R The times I drummed a beat At the lunch table + The picture that Didn't look like anything I put on my notebook + Some quotes I remember Wanting to be like Shakespeare Which I totally wasn't + My model rocket collection Which I put in the street And blew up with fire crackers + Running as fast as I could towards , where it was? All of it went into The Funnel Also, The fact that I learned Morse Code So I could be Good enough + The times I wrote Down the State Capitals And memorized them So I could be good enough + Learning to say the alphabet backwards& CO 2 + H20 given heat = C6H12O6 + 6O2 So I could be good enough All of it went into The Funnel. Also, The times I didn't really want to Know + The time I feel terrible + dumb + I don't want anyone to find out and glad they never did but it still does, You know. + All the contests that Didn't answer + The calls that left Messages that didn't mean anything + All the education that didn't teach me anything Eventually Regretably Unstoppably Effectively It all went into The Funnel Which flushed Into The Sea of The Unremembered.
