The Fox And The Dove
The sky is dark, the wind still. No clouds, no stars though it’s night. Nothing lives here apart from the fox and the dove. The fox and the dove live in different worlds. They don’t know the other exists, yet they exist so close. Then something comes though her, The dove in fact, something dark, something violent, but no one existed close enough to notice. It went right through her, in fact, and she dropped from her morning flight in the dark, clear sky, no one saw quite what it was, but they all blamed her for her misfortune, not the guy who pulled the trigger, or even The fox for not coming sooner. They all blamed The dove, even after the burred and Tooke her last breath.
