The Forgotten One
I am a hollow tree, without sap or roots, an empty trunk, without leaves that dance in the wind. My barren branches shelter no birds seeking rest and shelter. My dry leaves fall, like tears to the ground, bidding farewell to a life I could not sustain. Without fruit to offer, without shade to provide, I am a lifeless tree, without value to attract attention. Among other majestic trees, I am lost, without recognition, without a voice to echo. And yet, I remain standing, a silent witness to my own fragility.
