THE FORBIDDEN GAZE
YOU! YES... YOU! You made me insecure Insecure in my own body Everytime I go out those prying eyes never fails to find me Then up on I long, I long to disappear from this world Each time this happens, We feel terrible But why should we feel terrible? Isn't it them that should feel so? why don't they realise, that we are not toys that we are not puppets that we are not sexual creatures? maybe they are too inhumane Inhumane and immoral enough to think that women are and always will be objects Yes!objects to be gazed up on! When the society tells the women to cover up Shouldn't their eyes be covered up first? That's why the male gaze should be THE FORBIDDEN GAZE
