The Foolish Heart.
A thousand journeys races through the mind, Yet the heart - it chooses one. Forever chasing what it deems devine, Blind to the paths undone. How foolish beats this tender core, That shuns the skies so wide, For one sweet dream, forevermore, It casts the world aside. In fleeting hope it builds it throne, In daydream' s fragile art - Wandering realms it might have known, But lost - to it's foolish heart.
