The Finale without Goodbye
Always in sight but forever out of touch. Banging at the door of his heart, pleading like a dying man in the wilderness for a drop of water to quench his thirst. His soul, cold and frozen as ice, occasionally draping a blanket of lies,a few words, and a few walks to hide the weight of the guilt carried, with hugs and comfort, the shame he buried. Starved as she was,she feasted on whatever little he had to offer, not a lot for satisfaction but quite enough to make her feel alive. When their journey finally ended, she begged harder than ever before, questioning her worth, tarnishing her dignity, but some questions just don't receive the answers they seek and some people don't have the decency to offer closure. Silence was his farewell.
