The Final Dawn
My days are dwindling, and I know it's true My time is running out, and I have nothing new No future waits for me, no tomorrow to see Just the final dawn, and eternity I've lived a life that's been, a journey through the pain No joy, no laughter, just a struggle to remain But still I stand, and I face the end With a heart that's weary, and a soul that's bent I'm not afraid of darkness, for it's all I've known And I'm not expecting miracles, or a life reborn I'm just waiting for the dawn, and the final rest And the silence that will follow, and be my eternal nest.
