the final cut
it's late but some call it early, your listening to the songs that used to make you cry but tears never resurface. you wish they would you wish you could change the past but you can't you've ruined a lot but you've saved a lot too. guilt.... the guilt of the bad, it never leaves you you take that blade and you slide wishing you weren't scared but you are and you don't go deep enough to bleed but it still hurts enough to know your alive. one day you know you'll slip and cut the wrong spot and go the wrong depth you known it will happen you just delay and delay hoping you'll live. you remember the one quote you'll never forget. "death shouldn't be feared it should be welcomed but everyone is scared to die when staring the grim reaper in the eyes" you take a deep breath and just push through as usual the never ending cycle of the long nights
