THE FEW LAST BREATH
I laid on the bed, I never wanted to be In the cold walls of hospital , Where some aprons and white coat surrounded me I wanted myself to look good As my family was standing the next door but the dialysis machine just next to me unfiltered my situation when the clock showed four. The people for whom I had worked all days could just come my way To watch me in this newly given dress. I think that the charm of my face has also started to fade off while I was going through the faces of people who were visiting me off Slowly and gradually things went worse I heard my heart beat declining in a verse And suddenly I reminisced , the faces of my loved ones and my entire journey from a kid who was ready to leave all , all at once .... At the end of all I came to know that your money can never always stay by you It's the fame and name which you earn over the years , are the ones that will forever Shine by you It's not the dress you wear or the beauty you see Because one day with age they will leave by you Only the pleasures you have given to the people around you, will embrace your name even when they don't stay by you
