The fear that my soul yearns f
Fear vibrates in my soul, A scream that no one hears, But it holds my thoughts In invisible chains, Choking the air I breathe. I'm afraid of failing, Fear of the eyes of the one I love, What if, by chance, I disappoint them? Will there still be forgiveness? For a girl lost in past and future thinking? Fear chases me, Whispers with every step I take, Haunt my attempts, It makes me tremble at the new. What if I fail? What if I make a mistake? Will the world collapse? I wanted to lose my fear… Afraid to try, Afraid to love, Afraid to be, Fear of living. There are so many fears, so many “what ifs”, What I ask myself: What if I were free? Free to love without fear, To give myself without fear, To face life Without the weight of fear on my shoulders. I just wanted to be someone ordinary, Someone who is not afraid of love, Someone who is not afraid of living.
