The Fear in The Mirror
Time sprints forward, while I'm stiff as ice, The clock ticks by, this is the price. Every time I close my eyes it makes me wonder, Overthinking every decision like it’s a blunder. People laugh without a clue of what you are going through, Makes you wonder if they are going through the same thing too. Finding different ways to cope with the same issues, Some people game, some hide their pain in tissues. No one knows what you’re going through until it’s too late, Sometimes they even fight your feelings like it’s a debate. The burning feeling of your heart fighting your brain, Just for feeling like this people will call you insane. The world is cruel and full of evil, turn the corner and there it stands, Look it in the eye and say hello, so familiar you look at your hands. You walk closer and closer just to make it clearer, You’re staring evil in the eye, but all you see is a mirror. The world is heartless and full of pain, You grasp for comfort just to feel sane. Ignore the truth, but the mirror remains.
