They say those who grew up without a father tend to sabotage relationships Always afraid to build something permanent Like that of a father-daughter or father-son Afraid that they'll leave or run Don't wanna trust somebody son thinking they just wanna make hay while the sun shine Don't wanna open there hearts Coz there lives were altered with the love the father could provide They say we're insecure we call it peace of mind They say we run we name it self love Coz if you see it from above You'd realize we deserve the love that you're father's have Love for the child But instead hate is all you have in your arms were wrapped trapped for not being loved If we're to break free from the cuffs A sudden strike hits from the heart remind we weren't first loved If I wasn't my own father's first choice Who are you to say am your priority You can call it immaturity for protecting my own property My heart.
