The Familiarity Hidden

She was damaged nearly broken, tears behind her smile a past never spoken. Her heart was guarded for fear of reliving the abusive pain, determined to be alone to never trust again. As the years go by she learns to bury the pains and has forgotten all the heartaches, bruises and blood stains. Until he catches her eye, comforts her soul as if he was someone she already knows. Quickly the cautions cease to exist, her cold heart begins to melt it's been many years since she experienced what she felt! But it wasn't long until the easiness became distrust, those feelings of hopelessness, worthlessness and fear. You see the easy comforts that was in the beginning was the familiarity of the men she already knew. She got swept up in the comfort of the old thinking it was new. The years of hiding stuffing it all away. Not truly dealing with her past left her vulnerable and still led her astray. Now once again, she is left heartbroken and alone only this time she is stronger she recognized the signs she walked away as hard as it was.
