The Exclusivity of Love
Love, don't swim in the river, where crocodiles of deceit reside, For in those murky waters, your heart will be torn, and your soul will divide. Make sure I'm the only one, your sole haven, and your peaceful nest, For if you have many, you'll be drawn, into a whirlpool of unrest. Let me be your one man, your guiding star, your shelter from life's storm, Your safe haven, where you can be yourself, without fear of being torn. For love, like a garden, requires nurturing, and attention, to truly flourish, And if you scatter your seeds, in multiple gardens, they'll wither, and perish. In the ocean of love, there are many sharks, that lurk, and wait to attack, But with me, you'll find a safe harbor, where you can anchor, and never look back. I'll be your lighthouse, shining bright, guiding you through life's turbulent night, And with me, you'll find a love, that's pure, and true, and will ignite. So don't swim in the river, where crocodiles of heartache reside, Choose me, and I'll be your one, your everything, your love, your guide. I'll love you with all my heart, and all my soul, and all my might, And with me, you'll find a love, that's worth fighting for, and worth living for, day and night. I'll be your rock.
