The enemy
The enemy I revered and loved, Now lost in the grip of lust, Blinded by the will of a generation, Bound to a path of pure devastation, She’s lost in her own contemplation, In a world spun from her imagination. The peace I seek remains out of reach, Her rejection cuts deep, my heart left to bleed, In a battle unending, with no sign of release, With power borrowed, allies lend me their strength, To vanquish a foe, once cherished and dear. The monster I became was not by my choice, But shaped by the chains that bind my voice, A villain in tales of fairytales told, Of a being so cruel, with a heart grown cold. I am that villain, yearning for grace, But redemption escapes me, a futile chase. Acceptance, my shield against deceit, I embrace the fate where villain and hero meet, A story unfolds where I’m destined to be slain, In a tale of love, loss, and inevitable pain.
