The End
Time to go, the word is out, there's no tomorrow to fret about. All around our beautiful but flawed world we must let go. No time for long goodbyes, a thank you an apology, an honest word in haste.Imminent destruction is what we've been served. It matters not if its truly deserved. I speak up composed and reflective the things on my mind I have always been truthful, loving and kind. Our Children grew well into fine adults too we have done our part we saw all things through. That book I've been reading, the hole in the fence, those savings for later, all just pretence. I always knew Maccchu Pichu, Shiant Islands, alas, we'll never meet. Bonfires on the beach Jumping off the pier with our dogs, chatting in the street. Oh well I'm ready for the end of all life a mouthful of tea a kiss with my wife. I'm so happy we're together after all we've been through. I hope you're with someone you love Until things start anew...
