The dying light
Though life may feel such hopeless plight though shame may feel stronger than grace Let not a dying light shine upon your glorious face The dance may be futile, wild, uncaring still Don't you dare bend to death's ill borne will. You may think yourself broken, wishing for deaths cold door You may think that this foray into existence is not worth fighting for Nay scream darling, scream! Let not a dying light ever forget your roar. The fire may cool down, its flame quickly losing its speed But though embers, fuel the warmth. Tis' your fire to lead. It may be rough, a crown of thorns, that tries to escape your head It may be tough but ask for help lest you are keeping those voices fed. Yet, you are stronger than a dying light, No matter what those voices said. So sing, little flute, and dance with the airy breeze of a silky day Never let your song dry up, Never let the air falter, to fade away.
