The Door Half Open
The Door Half Open The door was half open, I stood still, With dreams in my heart and a silent will. The ones I loved, the hopes I grew, Fell apart — and there was nothing I could do. I reached out, but time stood tall, Watched everything crumble, watched it all fall. Eyes were open, but I couldn’t scream, Trapped in the ruins of a broken dream. Life keeps fighting, it never lets go, We carry the pain, but never let it show. And when the breath begins to fade, Only then, the debt is paid. They call it death, but maybe it's light — The end of the struggle, the end of the fight. A quiet place where sorrows cease... Not an end, but a gentle peace.
