The tree in front of my door disappeared I hated the falling dusty leaves I hated the insects and dog wastes I hated what I now appeal THEY are settling a new pavement Forcing my feet on the poor concrete To make my trip to the work shorter To make sure I show up clean Connected to reality disconnected from nature Connected to the destination disconnected from the streets
