The Depression
Stuck in a hole that only gets deeper the more I struggle. Most women walk by without a look, but the ones that do look in with disgust with words like "Disgusting" and "Gross" echoing down. Some people come by and say "Here friend, let me help you." But they only hold the rope instead of helping pull me up. Already tired, make slow progress. Once some progress is made and half way there, they let go, hear them laughing as I fall back to the bottom. Now just sitting in the darkness, all alone. The loneliness is overwhelming. Too exhausted, no energy left to pull myself up. Just giving up, waiting for death to take me.
