The Days Of Noah
In twilight's hush, where shadows dance and play, We're living in the days of Noah, in a world gone astray. Evil's dark veil has shrouded the earth, a somber gray, As humanity succumbs to vice, and virtue's light fades away. The cry of the innocent echoes through the land, As crimes and poverty ravage, hand in hand. Pestilence and disease stalk, unrelenting and cold, Leaving death and despair, a trail of hearts grown old. Racial hatred festers, a wound that won't heal, Hypocrisy and godlessness, a toxic, deadly zeal. Unrepentant, unremorseful, and unforgiving, we stray, From the path of righteousness, into the darkness of the day. The world is lost, in a sea of sin and pain, As love and kindness dwindle, and hate's dark stain. Yet, amidst the chaos, a glimmer of hope remains, A chance to turn, to seek forgiveness, and to love again. The days of Noah serve as warning, a call to repentance true, To turn from wickedness, and to seek the Lord anew. Let us heed the warning, and strive to be upright, Lest we suffer the consequences, of a world in endless night.
