The Days Of Endless Play.
The days of slate and chalk, Are not easy to erase, They hold memories, Of my childhood. Innocence and laughter, Fill the air with joy, Running through fields, Like a carefree child. The days of endless play, Seem like a distant dream, But in my heart, They will forever gleam. Oh, how I miss those days, Of simple pleasures and fun, When worries were few, And the world was bright as the sun. So let me cherish, The memories of my youth, For they are the foundation, Of who I am today. The days of slate and chalk, May be long gone, But the child within me, Will always live on.
