THE DARK REALITY!
At night, we sleep with sorrow deep, Wake with tears, in silence we weep. We crave the light, we shun the dark, Yet steal from others—leave a mark. Why do we push their hopes away, And turn their dreams to shades of grey? Is sorrow born from others' gain? Does success mean wealth and fame? We teach the young: "Do not divide," Yet in our hearts, do rules abide? The answer lies within our core, A truth we dare not ignore. Racism dwells inside our mind, Discrimination stands behind. Money beats within our chest, Status rules—no peace, no rest. We say we breathe, but is it true? Smoke clouds the air—a toxic brew. Drugs replace what once was pure, Darkness grows, yet we endure. But change must rise, we must repair, Or future souls will grasp for air. With oxygen tanks clutched in their hands, They’ll wander through our broken lands. So promise now, make this your goal, End hate and greed—restore the soul. For only love can heal the scars, And bring back light to hearts once dark. — Zainab Khan
