The dance of the sea
The sea rolls in with a thunderous sound, Her waves leap high, then crash to the ground. She whispers soft as the tides retreat, A rhythm of life in her endless beat. The gulls all cry in the salty breeze, As ships glide gently across her seas. Her waters sparkle, her surface gleams, A cradle of wonder and endless dreams. The moon climbs high and commands her flow, She rises and falls in her ancient show. Her song is steady, her heart untamed, A force eternal, forever acclaimed. Her depths are dark, yet they hold the light, A world unseen in the quiet night. With coral castles and schools that play, She hums her tune till the break of day. Oh, dance, dear sea, with your ceaseless grace, Forever shaping the earth’s embrace. Your timeless beauty, wild and free, Will sing through the ages, O mighty sea!
