The Dance
Dance swiftly with me in tow, Sway and circle with me softly, Carefully step and show Me how we ought to be. Guide my feet with yours, And hold my waist tight, Every two, three, four, Keep my eyes in sight. Gaze deep and tell me what it is you see, Mesmerized by you, you most tranquil sea. Dance swiftly with me, eyes closed, Sway and circle with me softly, I'll admit I'm not composed, If you tell me how we ought to be. Guide my hands so that they meet yours, Clasp them tight and don't let go, Every second ticks by twos, threes, fours. Every second spent I know, That golden light you radiate in every room, Upon me, you never fail in any attempt, to illume.
