The Damsel
When will you realize, New faces don't love the same, New hands don't rub the same, New hearts don't pump the same, This groom don't jump thebroom the same, These doves don't sing the same tune, Every morning out the window, Windows of a different room, New house, newly found failure, Newly weds don't move the same, I mean, who's to blame, Riding these new waves, You won't cruise the same, From one bed to another, You won't snooze the same, A multitude of men, They don't woo the same, Neglected self-respect rusts into a wreckage, Self-awareness is a hardship, You've earned the reputation of a harlot, A hussy, a tramp, a damsel, The topic of harsh ramble, You're better than this, Or at least you deserved better, What more can be said, this is strange, It's insane, New faces don't love the same, New hands don't rub the same, New hearts don't pump the same, I don't think your legs can run the same.
