The Curse that stays
I wish you die of thirst by a river’s side, Where water flows, yet none will guide. Mocked by the crowd, with spit on your face, They laugh at your fall, your endless disgrace. I wish you dwell in a forsaken, haunted place, A forest of betrayal, a shadowed space. You’ll scream for help, yet none will hear, Your cries shall echo, but none come near. I wish you linger, neither death nor relief, Bound in the torment of endless grief. Your heart shall burn in a ceaseless flame, Haunted forever by guilt and shame. I wish your lover wounds worse than mine, With cruel betrayal, a twisted design. May you live in sorrow, my hunted prey, Tormented forever, till your final day
