The curse of memories
Loving you was a mistake ,a misstep in time Laughing with you was my life's rhyme. Knowing you was my misfortune , a fate unkind, A curse that could never be left behind , A mistake that could never be written or defined. The days went by, whispering tales of our past , Telling me that you were one who didn't last, You we're an apple falling from an old , withered tree, A symbol of love that was never meant to be . Our love was a fleeting dream, a moment's grace, Not enough to last a lifetime's pace Moving on was painful ,hard won fight, A wound that would never fully heal , a scar that would remain in sight My heart is broken, sharted like fallen glass, A reflection of the love that didn't last
