The Crucifix
A door between heaven and earth, Kneeling before it even after rebirth, Preaching with the voice of a church bell, Blessing more than a wise man could tell, All footprints of life will be of same size, Even though you roll your intellectual dice, The symbol that joins the future and past, Burning the sinful as the eternal flame last, We think we pray in essays with more ticks, Without repentence we deserve more flicks, An evidence for the end of sins, Which would free us from our guilty tins, Let the crucifix be a hint for a hopeful tent, As every despair shall rend, Let it be the capital of your soul's prefix, Timelessly, morality is sown with the crucifix.
