THE CRIES OF MY SPIRIT
Help me know You, oh Divine One, Guide me to discover truth, not shun. Grant me the ability to sense what's real, To feel Your presence, a touch I can feel. I've heard stories about Your divine name, Explored Your Word, where Your truths proclaim. Witnessed miracles and wonders galore, Performed by those who adore You, for sure. Yet, it feels as if I only scratch the surface, I yearn for a deeper connection, a purpose. Beyond healing ailments, both big and small, I crave to experience Your love in all. Beyond what I've learned in discipleship's grasp, I long to encounter the power of Your holy clasp. The force that saved my soul from deep despair, That rescues lost souls, answers all prayer. Above all else, all I truly desire is You, To immerse myself in Your presence, through and through. Oh, sweet Jesus, I long for Your divine embrace, And sweet, sweet Holy Spirit, fill me with grace.
