The Core Named Spirit
I'm not my age, For my mind is not in any cage, Now I can taste what’s bliss in courage, So life isn’t captured dead in an image. Numbers draw wrinkles on my skin, But what can put my willpower in a bin? Despite the disease that makes me look thin, The words of my soul lift me to win. My life is not the sum of some equation, Nor am I some currency to impose a sanction, Nor some kind of land to remain as a faction, For I decide what is my depiction. In my pupils I could see the bottomless sky, With my immortal vigour I could see myself fly, Even if people scold and lie, Thus, my spirit doesn’t age—for I won’t die.
