The Christmas tree
The christmas tree of yesteryear, so tall and slim and fair, a symbol of youth and vitality, with lights that shone so bright and rare. yet now, each passing year doth bring, a tree of girth and might, as age creeps 'i , and time doth take its toll, with lights that flicker 'i the night. just like mine life, the tree stands firm-set , yet fragile too, with branches reaching for the welken, and roots that bear me true. the lights that once didst twinkle bright, now dance with faltering grace, and i fear that anon they may fade, leaving naught yet empty space. how i would for one moe year, ere the tree succumbs to time, to bask 'i its radiant glory, and cherish every instant sublime. for though it grows larger still, its beauty remains unchanged, a testament to life's fleeting charm, and all that's left unrearranged
