The Challenge Within
The Challenge Within by Vijay Sharma Erry I wake each day with a quiet storm, A hidden battle in a shifting form. No scars to show, no wounds to see, Yet this heavy burden lives in me. I try to speak, but words collapse, Like fragile bridges with broken gaps. The mirror reflects a steady face, But inside I run a restless race. Where do I start, where shall I go? The path unclear, the answers slow. The world believes I’m standing tall, But deep inside, I fear the fall. I wear my smile, my practiced art, Yet silence echoes in my heart. The challenge whispers, fierce and near, “You cannot win, surrender here.” But I refuse to bow or break, I’ll rise again for my own sake. For every shadow that clouds the sky, A brighter dawn is waiting nearby. I take a breath, I choose to fight, Even when hope is out of sight. I’ll build a bridge from stone and sand, With trembling will, with steady hand. I’ve learned that strength is not the roar, But walking through the hidden war. Each tear, each doubt, each sleepless night, Transforms my weakness into light. So let this challenge test my soul, It cannot steal, it makes me whole.
