The Call of the Moon Goddess
The call to the wilderness is sometimes hard to bear. I want to just go out into the free wilderness then never come back. to become a protector like Lady Artemis. To swear off romance and be left alone with my nymphs for all eternity. Though, I guess that will never happen. oh, to be wild and free like a strong stallion. She is as wild as a wolf, but can be as gentle as s doe. The moon has a certain power over me that her brother will never have. The sun and moon are like a double-edged blade. One shines with bright golden light , while the other shines metallic, and enjoys the shadows she resides in. Her father didn't understand her. Like most men, he tried to explain instead of trying to understand. They believe her to be a virgin forever, though she has laid with other women. She stands for individuality and determination. something we all need to succeed . The moon calls for me, so does the nature around us. She is untameable and free. The people who try to tame her, all end up dead or wish they were. She is seen as jealous and avenging. those both are characteristics, that the best have. People are imperfect, so are the Gods. you'll be good, if you can accept that fact.
