The butterflies
It was almost in seconds I was taken far away from reality I thought I wouldn't take another breath My blood had boiled beyond normal Till you sayed 'hi' And my heart beat once again In folktales and in songs In movies and in novels A lot about it people talked And a Thomas about it I had been Till you proved me wrong Mine were like ice And your fiery ones seemed to melt it all Just a contact, and it all turned watery So transparent I could see it calling me Yes, love was clear in your eyes, not even an iron curtain could hide it I thought they were lies Till insanely they filled my belly I couldn't admit it then But you really gave them to me These butterflies in my belly Are a sign am really in love
