The Burden of Love
I believe you find delight in my struggling breaths, When your lips, like a bow, unleash verbal arrows at my heart, Repeating the cycle of pain, again and again. Where lies your humanity, your understanding? Perhaps you relish the blood that spills from my lips, For it stifles the words my heart longs to speak. Oh, the heart you've shattered into oblivion, Why not release me, rather than ensnaring my joy, Submerging me in an unfathomable abyss of agony, An endless misery, inescapable and bleak.
