the brighter spark
i steal a glimpse of your suffocating blue eyes as you turn to face my table - reacting to the weird noises she makes. the ones she makes at a random time. you make weird faces back at her and she laughs. and you laugh. you laugh with her. and it's her. the one you're laughing with. her. and as i watch from afar, i begin to notice how close you two are slowly becoming, and i watch, i watch from afar in doubt. because i know, i know that even if you like me just a little bit, there will always be someone else. someone that lights a brighter spark in you than i do.
