The Bottomless Glass
When your feelin low...lower then low...so low the carpet on the floor feels grungy...so rustic it's hard to cope without your best friend...your reach for the glass...the glass that always was...the glass that gets poured daily but never filled...for the bottle never runs dry and the glass never stays full...you take a sip of the only thing that hears you when nobody else sees the other side of the wall...you sip from the bottomless glass waiting to taste happiness again like a child drinking orange juice with the morning sun rising from your face...your eyes then close as you fall asleep in deep thought to bring dreams...dreams that are broken and scattered like a jigsaw puzzle...the peaces never seem to come back...opening your eyes to the sun in your face trying to feel refreshed and know your breath still stank...lookin in the mirror after washing your face, realizing the nightmare never went away...coming home day after day you look for the endless glass that has yet to be filled...bottles come n go but the endless glass still gives a go...never letting you down just putting you to sleep every night to wake up and be thirsty all over again...your then start Putin then end
