The Blue
In my mind's eye I see a vast blue expanse. Without hesitation I let myself sink deep into the warm and cold waters. Bubbles around me form into a sphere that encapsulates me, there is a lack of light the deeper I go. Surface Surface Surface Surface Surface Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down((Me))Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Down Dark blue Dark blue Dark blue Dark blue Below there is only a darker blue, I can see, hear, feel, and taste the past. Memories of spring breeze, summer's heat, Autumn's chill, and winter's bite. Though alone I feel at ease, letting the world I once knew move through me. In the pitch black of the deep I curl up, hands under my head, a makeshift pillow to rest. I close my eyes and feel the cold envelope me, it's not a physical death so much a mental one, here i will lay in my bubble. Once I find peace I will return to the surface of the blue all renewed.
