The black sheep
I'm The definition of a black sheep. I'm the one they make a promise, but they don't keep. I come from shattered dreams and disappointments, I'm a falling star. You can see me scarred from pain, I never made it far. I've been left abandoned, walked alone when I was stranded. Never once have I asked for pity, for the cards that I've been handed. I try to do what's right, but I guess I'm doing it wrong. And every time l try to love,it doesn't last for too long. Tryna figure out where I belong, hoping life can be restored. I no longer open up, cus I end up feeling ignored. I'm not the one that seeks recognition, I'm so used to being isolated. It used to make me feel somewhat separated, but never had me aggravated. I refuse to go down without a fight, and I'm not losing my respect. Not biting my tongue for anyone, you won't say I'm indirect. I didn't need to fit in with the rest, I wear my heart on my sleeves. l'd rather take it off you than steal it, I don't associate with thieves. I wouldn't stab no one in the back, much rather spit in their face. Nobody ever said they were proud of me, I always felt out of place. I am the black sheep, a lost cause I'm the epitome. Against all odds I made impossible, a possibility.
