The bitter truth
Love,I remember I remember the Day September, Love promises that you showered, Promises that made me flutter. Love,I remember, I remember taking you as my hero, But my hopes shuttered to zero, You scattered my emotions like an autumn leaves on a windy day, now I'm left to gather the fragments of my heart. You made me feel useless and now I'm speechless, thinking of how heartless and cold you've become, like a winter frost that numbs the earth, leaving only shadows of what love once was. Love, now I'm all by myself, Picking up the pieces ieces you left, Memories of you, like shards of glass, Cutting deep, forever to last. The echoes of our laughter, now a distant past, A bittersweet reminder of love that didn't last. And that is the bitter truth.
