The Birth of life
In the hush of night, a journey begins, As stars twinkle above, and the moon softly grins. A mother's breath quickens, her heart beats in tune, With the rhythm of life, beneath the crescent moon. In the quiet hours before dawn's first light, She embraces the darkness, ready to fight. Through waves of sensation, she finds her strength, In the depths of her being, a power immense. With each contraction, a surge of life's force, She surrenders to nature's ultimate course. In the sacred dance of birth, she finds her grace, As she brings forth new life, in this sacred space. Through the ebb and flow of labor's embrace, She leans on her partner, her rock in this place. Together they journey, through valleys and peaks, As love's sweet symphony fills the air, as they seek. And then, in the stillness of dawn's first light, A cry pierces the air, a newborn takes flight. In the tender embrace of mother and child, A bond eternal, pure and undefiled. For in the labor of love, miracles unfold, As a mother's courage and strength are extolled. In the sacred dance of birth, we find our worth, As life's greatest miracle blesses the earth.
