The Bible in a Changing World:
I don't mean to be a bother, But this new world leaves me in a smother. Am I right, or are they wrong, In this world where I belong?Movie stars and politiains force there world of glamour and precision. I was raised in a different way, Church on Sundays, bow and pray. What's up with all these changing rules, And words that are now forbidden tools? My country, founded on the Good Book's way, Now seems lost, in disarray.Foreign people, foreign ways, Now part of our everyday displays. Don't mention God and moral ways, Or you'll be the one they blame, they say. let's go back, look at peace and family, Discipline, respect, and grace, in harmony. I think I'll choose my Bible days, Where love and kindness always pays. In a world that's ever-changing, The Bible's wisdom, unchanging. Its stories, images, and phrases, Guide me through life's complex mazes. In the Bible, I find my peace, In its teachings, my confusions cease. Generosity, courage, peace, and love, Values taught from the heavens above So, in this world of confusion and strife, I'll choose the Bible's way of life. For in its wisdom, I find my way, In this world that's gone astray.
