the best we can
who can I talk to? who is on my side? who won't get broken? who won't start to cry? who won't try to prove me wrong? project my problems back at me, string after string of words, others have it worse. we're working on it. hopefully. I can't keep holding out hope for hopefully. and I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry I haven't done more. I'm sorry I'm broken. im sorry I'm spoiled. I'm sorry I'm selfish. I'm sorry for feeling this way. but when I turn to you, why do you turn away? wonder why you lost my trust. I want to see you see my tears, watch as my fears are proven right. sticks and stones may break my bones, and your words put up the same fight. it's nine pm, I haven't eaten, the ac's out again. im in my bedroom cryin, we're doing the best we can.
