THE BEST VERSION OF ME
I am the best version of myself, made new, A child of God, forgiven and redeemed, Through mercy's grace, my spirit is renewed, From sin's dark chains, my soul has been esteemed. I am beloved, cherished, and cared for, By heavenly Father's everlasting hand, Who sent His Son to open heaven's door, And on the solid rock I firmly stand. A city set upon a hill so high, That cannot be concealed from watching eyes, My light shines forth beneath the open sky, A beacon that the darkness cannot disguise. A conqueror I stand, though storms may rage, Unmoved by tempests that around me sweep, I turn the final, triumphant page, While promises eternal I will keep. I am the salt that seasons all the earth, Preserving truth in this decaying age, I am the light that demonstrates my worth, A living message on life's sacred stage. No shadow can extinguish what I bear, No trial can diminish who I am, For I am chosen, called beyond compare, A living testament to God's great plan. Though mountains fall and oceans roar their might, My foundation stands, unshaken and secure, I walk in truth, I walk within the light, My purpose steadfast, my vision clear and pure.
