The Beautiful Red Rose
I found a beautiful red rose among black dahlias in this world's garden, A small red ray of hope and love in the middle of cold, pitch black darkness. That red ray was like the first sunshine of a new dawn, innocent and golden, Those silky and velvety red petals provided me warmth from mine coldness. Oh mine rose! Thy sweet scent makes me believe thou art breathing, Like thou art providing me comfort in the middle of these worldly worries. Mine beloved rose! Whenever thy thorns pricked me while caressing, It was not hate but thy love which helped me get cautious from wicked journeys. I do not want to close these eyes of mine to go back to the dream world, As looking at thee, I have realized that this reality with thee is better than dreams. How lucky I must be to feel pure love with thee in this materialistic world? Thou hast provided me comfort and I will love thee eternally without evil schemes. I swear it on mine love that I will never let thee wither away mine rose, Even if it means to keep thee red with mine red blood, mine beautiful rose.
