The Beautiful Nightmare
Stranded on what's left I saw the world going under the sea, Alone on what's left I saw the burning moon that left no one to see, Crumbs of a destroyed moon sliced our world like butter one by one, Wherever we went the unbreathable bricks from space crumbled us before we could even run, As a ghost in limbo I had a beautiful nightmare, Exploring a garden which I believed had no ecological snare, For those boundless needs every tree vanished as Mother Nature lost her hair from her head, Floods boiled in heat and heat peaked without air and that made her one of the dead, When I shared my nightmare I was thrown away, Some might've known the truth I feel as they ran away, I prayed that to see this again I don't dare, But the guilt secretly whispers weren't you the snare ?
