The Bard (Part 2)
The next day he sat down on the fountain in the middle of the market. He started to sing a beautiful tune but no one gave him any money nor compliments. He started to feel sad until he saw the princess again who was walking around the market. He felt excited but nervous at the same time. She came near and he started to sing his song in which he confesses his love for her. She listens and smiles at him. Soon he finishes the song while she applauded. The princess came closer and he looked at her like she was a goddess. She cupped his face and gave him a kiss. Something felt different though. Her lips were as cold as ice. Not long after he realized that this was all just a dream and that he wasnt kissing a princess but the ice cold death. His body was still infront of the tavern. He fell asleep and his mind brought him into a World where he can be happy. The bard didnt want to wake up. He stayed in the never ending dream with his princess while the cold was taking over his body until he died.
